Creamy classic hummus

Hummus a Middle Eastern dip made from chickpeas, is a versatile and delicious addition to any meal or snack. With its smooth and creamy texture, it has gained popularity worldwide, becoming a staple in many kitchens.

  • 500 grams Canned chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup Tahini
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 cup Olive oil
  • Salt to taste


  • Take a food processor and put chickpeas in it.
  • Add tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin powder and salt in it one by one.
  • Blend in until it gets very smooth in texture.
  • Serve it right away.


Serve it with kebab or bread.
