Instructions
Clean the beef first and cut into bite size pieces and keep that aside.
Now in a food processor grind nutmeg, mace, white pepper, cinnamon stick, green cardamom together and make a powder.
Take a saucepan and put mustard oil in it.
After it gets hot add black cardamom and bay leaf in it.
After 1 minute and sliced onions and stir it until it gets light golden brown in color.
Add garlic and ginger paste and stir for 2 minutes.
Now add beef, 4 green chilis, the special masala powder, roasted cumin powder and salt.
Mix everything well.
Add hot water and cook the beef in a closed lid and medium flame until it gets fully cooked.
After the beef gets cooked separate the pieces of beef in another bowl.
In the rest of the gravy add rice and stir it for 5 minutes.
Add 3 cups of hot water and 1 cup of milk in it.
Add 8 green chilis and salt and keep the flame in low heat.
When the rice and water are at the same level, in the position add beef and mix well.
Close the lid and wait for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, flip the rice and wait for another 10 minutes.
After 10 more minutes flip the rice again and close the flame and wait for 5 minutes.
Serve it hot.
Notes
Garnish it with fried onions.
