Crispy falafel

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pound Chickpeas soaked overnight
  • 1 cup Coriander chopped
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • First, soak dry chickpeas overnight with enough water at room temperature.
  • Take a food processor and put the soaked chickpeas on it.
  • Add the herbs, onion, garlic and seasonings.
  • To mix it all, blend it nicely and make a coarse paste.
  • Now transfer it to a bowl, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes take the bowl out and mix sesame seeds in it.
  • Make small flat patties by using your hands and keep it aside.
  • Take a pan and put enough oil in it to deep fry.
  • After heating the oil, put the falafel one by one and fry it until it gets golden brown.
  • Serve it hot.

Notes

Serve it with garlic sauce
