Instructions
Clean the chicken first then cut it in 8 pieces.
Take a saucepan and put oil in it, put the flame in medium.
Add cinnamon, cardamon, bay leaf and onions in it and stir until the onions get light brown in color.
Add garlic and ginger paste and stir for 2 minutes.
Add salt, chili, turmeric, coriander and cumin powder it in and mix well.
Add 2 tbsp of water so that the spices do not get burned.
Stir until the oil separates.
Add chicken and 2 cups of water, mix well and close the lid and let it cook.
After 20 minutes check if the chicken gets cooked.
Add the potatoes, close the lid again.
After 15 minutes open the lid and add green chilis.
Turn the flame in low and let it cook for another 10 minutes.
Turn off the flame after 10 minutes and serve it hot.
Notes
Serve it with plain rice or paratha.
