Methi chicken in coconut milk
Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken
- 500 ml Coconut milk
- 1 cup Chopped onion
- 2 tsp Fenugreek leaves
- 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
- 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1.5 tsp Cumin powder
- 1.5 tsp Coriander powder
- 0.5 tsp Garam masala powder
- 0.5 tsp Mace powder
- 1/4 cup Oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Take a saucepan and put oil to warm.
- Add chopped onions and stir until it gets light brown, now add garlic ginger paste and stir it for 2 minutes.
- Then add red and kashmiri chili powder, turmeric, cumin and coriander, garam masala and mace powder and 2 tablespoons of water and stir it for 5 minutes on low flame.
- After 5 minutes add the chicken and mix it well, now add the coconut milk and stir it.
- Let the chicken cook on medium flame.
- After the chicken gets fully cooked turn the flame on low heat and add the fenugreek leaves on it.
- Keep it on flame for 2 minutes, then turn off the flame.
- Garnish it with some coriander leaves.

Serve it hot with roti or paratha.
