Recipe for Tandoori BBQ chicken
Ingredients
For 1st step marination
- 4 pieaces Chicken after processed
- 2 tbsp Red chili powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
For 2nd step marination
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 2 tbsp Garlic paste
- 2 tbsp Ginger paste
- 2 tbsp Fried cumin powder
- 1 tbsp Garam masala
- 1 tbsp BBQ packet masala any brand
- 1 tbsp Kebab packet masala any brand
- 1 tbsp Red chili powder
- 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp Orange food color
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup Mustard oil
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce any brand
- 1/4 tsp Red food color
Instructions
- Clean the chicken first then cut it into 4 pieces.
- Take a bowl and marinate the chicken with lemon juice, red chili powder and salt first.
- Keep it aside to rest for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, again marinate the chicken with yogurt, garlic and ginger paste, fried cumin, garam masala powder, BBQ packet masala, kebab packet masala, red chili, turmeric, black pepper powder.
- Add orange and red food color, mustard oil, salt and BBQ sauce in it and mix the chicken well.
- Keep it again to rest for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, take a frying pan and put oil in it.
- Fry the marinated chicken one by one until it gets golden brown.
- After the chicken gets cooked, put the chicken into the frying pan and put a small piece of burnt coal in it and close the lid.
- After 10 minutes open the lid and serve the chicken.
Notes
Serve the chicken with paratha or naan along with onion salad.
