Vegan chocolate spread
Unlike traditional chocolate spreads that are loaded with unhealthy fats and refined sugars, vegan chocolate spread is a guilt-free alternative. It’s lower in saturated fat, cholesterol-free, and often contains antioxidants from the cocoa powder. Plus, it’s free from artificial additives and preservatives, making it a healthier choice for both you and the planet.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Hazelnuts – 1 cup
- 12 Dates – 12
- 1.5 tbsp Cocoa powder – 1.5 tablespoons
- 1 cup Water – 1 cup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degree celsius and bake the hazelnuts on a baking tray for 12 minutes.
- In a food processor, blend the dates and luke warm water on high until smooth, and set it aside.
- When the nuts are done, transfer to the blender and blend on low.
- Gradually increase to medium until it turns into hazelnut butter.
- Add the blended dates and cocoa powder into the blender.
- Start blending on low and gradually increase to high. Stop the blender to scrape down the sides if needed.
- Once the nut butter gets smooth and glossy, it’s ready.
Notes
Serve it with bread.
