Zucchini Zest: An Easy Recipe of a Prawn Curry Paradise

Zucchini prawn curry

  • 8 Prawn medium size
  • 500 gram Zucchini chopped
  • 1/4 cup Onion
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 2 Green chilis
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup green peas


  • Cut the zucchini in medium cubes and keep aside.
  • Now take a saucepan and pour oil and add onions in it, fry the onions till it gets light brown.
  • Add garlic, ginger paste and stir it for 2 minutes.
  • Now add chili, turmeric, cumin, coriander powder and salt and a little bit of water and stir it for 5 minutes on low flame.
  • Then add prawns and stir it for 2 minutes.
  • Now add the zucchinis and green peas and the green chilis and 1 cup water, mix it well. Now keep the flame on medium heat and let it cook till it’s fully done.
  • Check after 20 minutes, if it gets cooked then add the coriander leaves and keep it on the low flame for 2 minutes.
  • After 2 minutes turn off the flame and serve it hot.


Serve it with plain steam rice.
